About Me

I have played and sung in local rock bands and folk trios before going into solo acoustic guitar. In 1996, I started to hone my songwriting skills and I began to write originals. Some major influences were Tom Petty, CCR, Led Zeppelin, The Who, Gordon Lightfoot, Eric Clapton, Bruce Cockburn and country/blues fingerpickers from the early 20th century (e.g. Blind Blake). My passion for guitar playing led me into teaching for the last 12 years. I presently teach privately.

In 2009, I started work on my debut original CD “Going Against The Flow”. The CD has 12 songs. Two of the highlights on the CD are “Fire Symphony” and the toe tapping “Going Against The Flow”. CD is available now.

The reward of writing songs, for me, is about making a connection through my songs between myself and the audience. Looking forward to connecting with you soon!
